With host, Wade Davis, this show explores the state of Tibetan Buddhism in Nepal, which is a huge movement and a growing one, due to the occupation of Tibet by China. Many aspects of Tibetan Buddhism in Nepal are explored, everything from some aspects of Tibetan laypeople living in Nepal, to large, thriving monasteries and Sanghas, all the way to the practice hermatice in the Himalayan foothills.
